Less then ninety kilometres to the south of Recife, in the Northeast of Brazil, the Fazenda Amaragi differs of the conventional concept of hotel, offering direct contact with the nature and the people, hospitality worthy of the finest hosts and a range of activities.

There are 26 rooms available to the guests: eight in the Farm House and eighteen chalets, all with air-conditioning, and always decorated with local flowers and fruits. At the farm you find a variety of plantations and animals, a rustic and comfortable atmosphere, where the meals are shared like in a big family at one table. "It is important the people feel at home here" reveals Roberto and Ana-Paula de Albuquerque, the owners, who care personally for your well being.

The keyword here is fun. To take advantage of the 65 hectares of farmland you can go horseback riding, enjoy the swimming pool or just wander around. The transport to the beautiful beaches of Carneiro or Guadeloupe is done in a nice train pulled by a tractor. He takes everybody to the river Formoso. Starting from there, you get enchanted with the transparency of the ocean, practice water-ski, get to know the mangroves, go fishing or just enjoy the beach and the barbecue at the seashore, at lunchtime. 

At the farm you can play snooker, Ping-Pong or table-soccer, go to the sauna or watch Sky TV in the living room of the Main House.
